Adalia Mynett
Adalia Mynett’s landscapes were initially influenced by the Welsh countryside during her time as a student, at Aberystwyth University. Having recently completed an MA at Birmingham City University, her work has since evolved from purely rural imagery, to scenes which reflect the diverse attributes of her current surroundings. Within her paintings, she explores the hybridity of spaces and expresses an interest in land management. Despite the absence of human depiction, these landscapes pose as an evaluation of our role within the landscape, often presenting the gradual infiltration of modern-day life.
